Greetings and Salutations! Tis I xLiquidDreamsx coming to you with news about fun stuff.
I've been hard at work collecting information and stuff for our Newbies Guide to Styling Second Life blog section. And man have I learned a lot. Like... wow does it suck to be a new guy trying to survive on freebies in Second Life! Y'all have my deepest sympathies. Because it is slim pickins out there. Well if you care at all what you look like that is. *Laughs* But it can be done. You just gotta work for it. It's much easier if you have the L's to throw around. At least then the selections open up a little. It's true you guys get away with wearing the same thing day in and day out without thinking you need a closet full of clothes to choose from. Especially when you look HOT in it. Yet I still find it shocking that there is such a drastic difference in the amount of merchandise available for men. So maybe most men don't mind so much. But I think the SL Market is in desperate need of gifted designers who love to make mens clothing. Maybe Santa will bring us one for Christmas this year. I'm adding it to my wish list right now! And if they like to give out awesomely wicked gifts too... even better!
The ladies on the other hand have it made. Just open the Market and there is a virtual gold mine of really cute stuff waiting for you to find. And it'll take you hours just to shop your way through the freebies. I remember my fist trip to the Market to hunt for new stuff. And being a girl that always likes to get the most for my L's I tried a lot of free and very inexpensive stuff. My must haves list is full of such stuff. Surviving off of free stuff if you know how to look for it is a piece of cake. Which makes my job very easy. YaY! I'm gonna need all that extra time to hunt for the boys I'm sure. =)
Over all it's been lots of fun and I'm really enjoying my my work. Can't wait to start sharing stuff with you. But for now it's time to get back to work. Laters All!
